Eagle Ridge Academy is broadcasting its own "very special episode" :
There will be special board meeting held Tuesday, June 24, 2008. The agenda is attached.
On June 5, the Eagle Ridge Academy board moved to hire John Howitz as Executive Director pending background and reference checks. In an attempt to be as transparent as possible; before John can be offered a contract, we would like to give him an opportunity to meet with the Eagle Ridge community. This meeting will be held immediately after the special board meeting, at approximately 7:15.
This is a very important meeting; please plan on attending.

I am a parent of 2 children and am interested in sending my children to Eagle Ridge Academy. My attention was sparked with the news of the mercury spill. I found your blog and have been visiting it ever since. I have been following your blog for a few months, watching the story unfold. It is a pity that these issues come up and we loose prospective on what is most important "the kids". Their education is at stake while grown-ups play games. Regardless of what I have read, I respect your views. Not knowing any of the players personally, essentially being an outsider, I can say that the the progression of events has not been boring! Please do not feel offended! I am on your side. I was looking for your blog this evening to see if the academy has found its new director. So far, you have not posted anything. I am hopeful you will post. Thank you for a fresh prospective and an honest forthcoming commentary.
I have been anxiously awaiting news on what is happening with the director search. Who has been hired do you or anyone know? How inconsiderate to parents and the community not to advise what is going on! With all the hype I would think it wise for the School Board to be as "transparent" as possible. Currer, what is going on?
